So, there were three Spider-Man mini-comics that were produced by MPI/Shanlon in 1990, all with a cassette.
Two of them reprint full comics and are listed as variants to those comics: Amazing Spider-Man, Vol. 1 303D and 319C.
The third one reprints just one of the stories in Amazing Spider-Man, Vol. 1 Annual #23. “My Science Project” is one of the back-up stories in that annual.
I’m not finding that in the Core.
Does this get its own series? Putting it as a variant to ASM Annual 23 seems odd. If it does become its own series, would it make more sense to move the other two there (the packaging does nicely label them as 1, 2 and 3…)? Clearly the cover scan feature helps, but there is nothing on the MPI edition of ASM 319 that it reprints that issue. Same cover and same story. But I don’t see “319” anywhere.
They don’t make it easy…
Alex Saviuk is the cover artist.
