Adventures of Superman: split in cloud?

Hi. I am going back and forth between my cloud data and the app data checking to see if I have all the issues of TPBs and came across this strange thing. I have all the issues of ‘The Adventures of Superman, Vol 1’ as show in the app screen shot below but somehow this title is split in my cloud data between ‘The Adventures of Superman’ and ‘The Adventures of Superman, Vol. 1’ (see below as well).

Could there be 2 titles in core? Do I need to check something on my end? I have updated the issues from core but do not want to try things like merge without checking to see where the issue might lie. Please let me know how I can help. Thanks.

I wanted to check this in your collection, but you have too many collections for me to go through.

I recommend trying this if you want to make sure you get the same series name as we have in Core:

  • tap and hold on the seemingly duplicate series name, and select both.
  • tap Action
  • tap Update from Core and set the series name to replace
  • make it happen, sync, and done.

On Mobile:
Tap menu > maintenance
tap “remove unused pick list items” - which will remove any unused series and other pick list items you’re not using (so it doesn’t happen again on mobile for this series)

Hi. Yeah, asking you guys to remove all my 0 entry collections is on my to-do list. I’ve unloaded about 20k books since getting everything I have into CLZ but haven’t cleaned that up yet. Anyhow…

I followed the directions regarding updating from core but it didn’t update anything (FYI I had already tried this per my original note). I’m really scared to try the pick this thing though as according to the cloud this title is split and I do not want to lose either 50 or 181 issues from my collection. If one of those titles is consider wrong, isn’t that what will happen?

Collection is “Main Collection - Issues” with 29,370 issues. Thanks for any thoughts.

Oh wow, look closer at my pic of the cloud data. V2 and the V1 annual for this title are also doing the split thing. :open_mouth:

I’ll poke around some more today to see if I have even more examples. Please let me know how I can help. Thanks!

I’ve fixed these for you now, can you sync on your mobile device and see if it works now?
