Age of Conan: Belit, Queen of the Black Coast price off?

Age of Conan: Belit, Queen of the Black Coast #5b Jenny Frison incentive variant cover shows as $179. Seems high.

You must have yours showing as a NM+ because that value corresponds with an absolutely legit sale. It is, however, from October 2025. Make sure to go over to CovrPrice to get more context on sales data.

You are correct, I did have it listed as NM+ ( which I think it is). That explains that. I was just not seeing the avg value that high when searching ebay, and other sale sites. I have adjusted my search criteria, and it makes much more sense now. Thank you!

A few things to keep in mind:

  1. CovrPrice reports sales; we don’t artificially set values for grades for which we don’t have sales.

  2. I don’t want you to feel like you have to log books at a grade they are not, but please keep in mind that there are very few sales at the raw NM+ range for any book. This is because most sellers don’t want the liability that comes with advertising a book as NM+ (9.6 or 9.8). As such, for Copper and Modern, the NM bucket (9.0-9.4) is usually the most populated with sales, and as such is most commonly the best representative grade bucket of a book’s value. But that is not always the case, as recency is often king.

  3. In this case, the NM+ bucket has a single sale recorded, from back in October 2025. The NM bucket has 52 sales recorded, but the most recent one is from August 2025. The most recent sale recorded for the book is from 3/29/2026, and that was for $152.50. This is the type of context you’ll only get if you head over to CovrPrice and dive into the data.

  4. Yes, there are copies out on eBay with asking prices of $350-500, but keep in mind, those are asking prices. These sellers know there’s not a lot of copies out there, and they probably know the last copy sold was not in perfect condition. So they are hoping to capitalize. Until a copy sells at this level, however, history is our best guide of value.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

It helps. Thank you.
