I can submit corrected width and height measurements to the core, but not spine size or weight of the book. Is there a reason for this? I know I can report missing or inaccurate info through the forum and you will deal with it, but it would be quicker and less clunky if I could do this via a submission… I know you’ll tell me the core is your business and I should just focus on my own d/b but I frequently come across wildly inaccurate book weights in the core… too often to draft multiple reports in fact. Am I suffering from focus drift… again?!
You can keep your own spine and weight values on the book in your database indeed. Submitting those two fields to Core is not available in the submit screen right now, only width and height. We have it on the ideas list to add these, but no promises.
For a Core weight/spine that is clearly wrong, Club CLZ (About books / Core errors) is still the place to report it for now - but it feels like it would be a lot of work, with no benefit to you of course - try to keep that focus
