Archie Submissions

Archie Meets Jay And Silent Bob

There’s an UrbnPopComics exclusive by Chris Hamer to this one, too.

It looks like several from my last batch from last year weren’t addressed. These have slowed, and so if you want to close this thread, I can start listing them individually if that works better.

Regardless, a few to add:

Archie, Vol. 1 #401

There is a Club Med giveaway (same base information as the regular 401 – just no cover price and no issue number on the cover).

Next up. We have two giveaways from 1993, sponsored by SNET (a communications company).

The first is:

SNET Presents Archie’s Long Distance Dream

Writer: Mike Pellowski

The second is the accompanying activity book. It has excerpts from the main comic but is black & white, allowing for users to color it. If you decide that is worth indexing, I would think it could live in the same series…

Archie Comics 85th Anniversary Presents: Archies Movie Mania

First, I would recommend making that Archie’s Movie Mania (note the missing apostrophe in Archies).

Then, we have two missing Absolute Batman homages, both by Bill Galvan and both limited to 250.

Absolute Archie

Absolute Jughead

Both use the same back cover:

There’s also a metal of each of the above, limited to 25. They use the same front and back covers.

The Absolute Jughead metal

The Absolute Archie metal

These have been added.

I know that they reuse covers (which is annoying), but I have a comic that is definitely correctly housed under Archie’s Christmas Spectacular 2021. That same cover is in Archie Christmas Spectacular. I assume the one on the right is an error… thoughts?

Fixed.
