Good Morning,
This is my first time on the forum. I am a big fan of the app.
I do have a request. Right now, it takes 4 button presses to find a comic’s value. Is there any chance you can reduce it to two or three presses?
I realize it is only one swipe and one button press once you are at the check value. My question is about reaching it the first time.
Of course, it could be user error.
Thanks!

Good to hear you’re a big fan!
Indeed, check value screen is in the menu, so you have to
Putting it on the main screen so it’s directly accessible is probably not something that we’re going to do (there are many menu items in the menu, which some users would like to access quicker perhaps, not just check value of course).
Is that what you mean with 4 button presses? Opening the menu, tapping check value?
Good Morning,
Roger that, understood.
The 4 presses are: 1) the app itself, 2) the menu, 3) Check Value, and 4) scanning the comic.
Any chance you can let us create a shortcut on our phone screen that takes us directly to Check Value? That would require only two button presses: 1) Shortcut and 2) Scan Comic.
Thanks!
Bert
I’m not sure how that would work, a shortcut on your main screen of your phone with all your apps to open a function inside our app. Does your phone have tap/hold on app to get a shortcut? Do you know of other apps that do that? I could make a feature request out of it, but I’m not sure if something like that is even possible on iPhone or Android to be honest! (never looked into it either, and I’d imagine opening the regular “Add Comics” screen would also be a good contender for such a feature! What do you think?)
I think being able to access both features on a phone screen would be awesome!!
I know nothing about building apps. My quick research suggests it can be done if the app supports such shortcuts or through an existing platform that can interact with the app.
Maybe you can run it by your IT team?
Just a thought. Thanks for considering it!
Take Care!
