Would you be able to try and remove those two entries, then re-add them, and then see if the daily updates stop?

I deleted them then added them back and did an update from the core 4 times. Each time they stayed in the update.
I was able to reproduce this problem with these two comics at least.

We found the problem! The update from core wrongly shows comics without an issue number filled in as updated.
Nothing actually updates, so there isn’t really anything happening - just the notification.
We have a fix ready for one of the next versions.
For now: if you really want to work around the problem, you can edit those 2 comics and just type a “1” in the issue number field - that will stop the problem from happening.
