When I start the Web software, it uses the folder I had displayed in the previous session. This is generally a good idea except when that folder was “Actor”, when the software takes several seconds to start up - presumably because the list of actors has to be downloaded. I am locked out of the software whilst that is going on. It would be nice if there was an option to specify the start-up folder either as “Last Used” (as a present) or a specific folder (eg Genre) so that the software starts more quickly.
We’ve discussed the idea here but for now we’ve decided not to put this on the ideas list. I do think the Actor folders could load faster, perhaps there’s something we could do about that. Thanks for reporting this.
