Has something changed with adding digital movies? I decided recently to keep track of digital copies that I don’t have a physical copy for anymore. I did s google search and came across this from 2019
When I try to add by Title, I don’t get the options show the digital formats. This is what I see. Is there a setting I need to change?
Workaround in case you don’t know: Add them using ‘Default’ (First picture in the results). After it is added, go Edit the movie. At the Edition tab choose or add a new Format. If you enter the Digital Format exactly like it is written like this:
You still get a nice image for the format.
You can also click the menu top left, then go to “Pre-fill Settings” - then make sure to toggle it to ALWAYS SHOW - you can add the FORMAT field as a field you always want to “enter” before adding the movie.
That said, just editing after adding and changing the format works too of course.
My understanding is that those 12 entries should be considered as “Purchase Store” and not formats. To specify an digital FORMAT, should we not introduce the container type or the Codec used?
