This might be a bit of a niche request, but I figured I’d give it a shot.
I currently have two collections:
Collection A contains all of my games.
Collection B contains only the games I’ve beaten/completed.
Whenever I complete a game from Collection A and want to add it to Collection B, I first have to duplicate the game and then transfer the duplicate to Collection B.
Would it be possible to do this in a single step?
For example, an option such as “Copy to Collection B…” would make the process much quicker and more convenient.
Yeah, that would be a “backup plan”
Problem is, collection B has games that I’ve played with emulators mixed in while my main collection only has games that I actually own (or have available through online stores like PSN, Steam etc)
Also, Collection A is only partialy public while my intention is to leave collection B fully public…
I see and understand that for your usage it would be useful to have a "duplicate to Collection > " option. The reason we would be hesitant to add it is because you might expect this duplicated to stay “connected” to the “original”. Anyway I’ve taken note of your suggestion in any case.
Please know that if you do make a duplicate, and move it to collection B, and later you make a change to that game in collection A: it won’t change the game in collection B. It is an actual separate game at that point.
We do have it on our ideas list to create a “fake” “ALL” collection.
It might be something that could help you at some point.
