Ekos (Kickstarter) Clean Up

Howdy!

Just looking at ‘Ekos (Kickstarter)’ and it could do with some love. I’m also wondering if we should combine ‘Ekos, Vol. 1’ and ‘Ekos (Kickstarter)’ to avoid confusion. Covrprice has these two grouped and then calls out the retail versions, which were pretty limited. For now, the below is just for ‘Ekos (Kickstarter)’.

Remove:

  • 1C - Joe Benitez Variant - duplicate of 1B
  • 2D - J. Scott Campbell Variant - duplicate of 2B

Update:

Add (a lot of duplicated cover art with metal/holofoil variants, and my only source is the Kickstarter, so image quality is low…):

Hi, thank you for the detailed post. However, at this current time there are no plans to “correct” these series. A clean up isn’t that needed here and keeping them separate is the best option for the way they were distributed. If we do end up cleaning this up, we can go back to this post at any time. Thank you for posting though :blush:

Hi @CLZ_Justin - I’m a bit surprised by your response. What about the duplicated and missing books?

What part is surprising? We can say no to something or put it on hold. Happy to add books but a full clean up is not something we or I will do at this time for this title. We can see the cloud count, and by that number it just isn’t that popular of a title (for all volumes). I’d rather put that effort and time into a series that is and helps more people.

@CLZ_Justin thank you for providing more context - makes perfect sense now.

Of course you are completely with in your power to say no. But as a loyal customer I was surprised that my whole request was dismissed, especially when I’d clearly spent time putting it together.

Feel free to completely ignore this Vol. 1 request, but I would appreciate it if you could at least add the Vol.2 books.

No worries! You’re free to ask :blush:. I didn’t fully dismiss it, just postponed it for now. And when we will work on it, we can go back to your detailed request.

I’ll get to work on vol 2 next week and update you here once done.
