I have been using the software for many years, beginning with the PC version. I eventually added the App version. I used the custom fields extensively, especially for tracking my purchase discount percent, until I and many others asked if that could be integrated and it was!
Over time, I converted all my custom fields to other features such as tags or other existing fields, sensing that custom fields may never be part of a web experience (until recently, when they’ve come back).
What I love about the PC version is that my experience with customizing HTML let me optimize my own template.
There is one item keeping me from immediately going to the web version from the PC version. I prefer seeing personal details and value information at a glance rather than having to scroll down through characters and creators to get to the info. In the PC version, I manually edited the HTML template to get the order I wanted. Others may have opposite preferences.
The ask, then, could be one of the following:
- Is there a way you could program the web version to allow selecting the order of the detail information blocks?
- Could you make the blocks able to be turned on or off?
- If we can’t control order or display, could you make the blocks fully collapsible (so we save screen real estate by just seeing the heading for characters and creators)?
Hopefully, it is clear how much I love the software. No matter what the response, I will remain a faithful user of the CLZ products!
