How is everyone handling their genre sorting/filtering? The genre is a multi-select field so a game like Age of Empires might have “Historic”, “Real-Time”, and “Strategy” while a game like Heroes of Might and Magic might have “Fantasy”, “Turn-Based”, and “Strategy” if I want to see all the games that are turn-based strategy, how do I do that? I’ve thought about adding a sub-genre custom field but even then that only allows two levels and I’d have to make a hard decision on the parent child. Is it Turn-Based–>Strategy or Strategy–>Turn-Based.
You could create your own field and name it “sub-genre”, then tap the folder button top left, and create a new favorite that first groups on genre, and secondly groups on sub-genre.
But you’d have to fill in sub-genre for all games yourself of course.
It is not possible to show the data of 2 folders in one go but that has been requested before.
Not really a broken record, but I thought we already discussed more advanced filtering, or even ctrl clicking multiple folders to show all games from that - so I did wonder if this was just another post to ask the same thing… so I tried to answer differently
