How do manually added albums get included in the core?

I have been adding albums manually in CLZ Music Web that are not in the Core database. Is there anything I can do to get them incorporated in this Core Database ?

I’m afraid not. We currently do not allow new submissions via manually added albums in our apps.

If you can’t find an album in Core, you could always try the “Catalog Number” tab in the Add Albums screen, you sometimes get better results with that.

The catalog number is a short string of letters/numbers often found on the spine of a CD, or somewhere on the vinyl cover.

So there is no way for albums “in eigen beheer” to get included in your Core Database ?

Not really. Can I ask why you’d want them to be in Core database?

(if you have a Cat Nr. and you submit them to Discogs, you will be able to find them through our Cat. Nr search in our software)

What if the CD is on Discogs but doesn’t have a catalog number ? (https://www.discogs.com/release/34442374-Jason-Rouse-Miotal-Trom-Heavy-Metal)

This particular one can be found by typing
“Miotal Trom Heavy Metal” in the artist/title tab of the add screen.

Or by typing 199199889913 in the barcode tab of the add screen.
