Not sure if it’s a linking issue, on the CovrPrice site site it says 4$ value. But on clz shows as 80$. Hopefully I posted to the right place, new to this.
It seems you are comparing apples and oranges.
What you show in the CLZ app is the value for the 9.8 grade (NM+)
What you show on the CovrPrice site is the value for a 9.4 grade (NM).
This is what I am seeing on the CovrPrice site:
Now, I will admit that that values a bit on the high side. I will ask CovrPrice about that.
A seller used no spaces in a listing, so a Dell’Otto variant got into the regular cover sales. It has since been removed. That was the only NM+ sale we had when it came in, so there was nothing for the algorithm to compare against to call that sale an outlier.
Thanks for pointing that out. I’ll have to familiarize myself more with how CovrPrice is set up, didn’t notice the difference in grade. And thanks for looking further into that value discrepancy.
Thanks for looking into it.
The grade makes a huge difference. For most moderns, if your books’ grade is borderline, you’ll be better off classifying it as an NM (9.4) because there’s a LOT more sales data at that level for moderns than there is for the NM+ (9.6 and up) bucket.
