This edition includes the earliest chapters restored in their most complete and uncensored form, bringing Serpieri’s extraordinary craftsmanship to life. Readers can expect mythic storytelling, exquisite draftsmanship, and a haunting vision of beauty and decay. In a world rotting under the weight of a mysterious plague, Druuna fights to survive. The plague twists flesh into tentacled nightmares as priests, soldiers, and mutants fight over the scraps of a dying world. With nothing but her will and her body as weapons, Druuna becomes the spark of rebellion in a collapsing civilization. Her journey drags her through crumbling cities and forbidden ruins, searching for a cure, a truth, maybe redemption, while desire and horror collide at every turn. A cornerstone of the Heavy Metal legacy, Druuna remains one of Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri’s most daring creations, a fever dream of beauty, apocalypse, and obsession that redefined erotic sci-fi." This is a mature-readers (18+) edition. The interior art contains nudity and adult themes but is not pornographic.
