I’ve noticed that many users create a new topic for every issue or series they submit. Is it okay if I just have a single topic and let you guys know when I’ve submitted new stuff? Unless there’s a reason to detail every single item I’ve submitted, I’ll mostly just update this and let you know there is new stuff and you can ask if you have questions. Given I submit so much, this will be easier for me, but I don’t want to sidestep your process if it’s going to create headaches on your end. I also don’t want to ask to be treated special so, again, just tell me if this will be a problem and I’ll be happy to follow the same rules as everyone else.
With all of that out of the way, I’ve already submitted a new series and my submissions are awaiting processing in your queue. Since the series doesn’t exist, I named it:
Rise (Pocket Watch Press)
Only 2-issues have been released so far so I submitted detailed entries for each. Brand new cover scans done by me are attached and I made sure both images for the wraparound cover on issue 2 line up nicely to make use of the “wraparound cover” option.
I also copied an image to use as a backdrop. I know very few series have these since it’s probably a big pain for you guys to go looking for images on everything, but I really like this new artist, Ryan Best, so I took the extra step to make my personal entries look as cool as possible. Feel free to add this on your end if you like.

Processed and filled in a few missing fields. Used a different backcover though, we try to focus more on lenghty images. Thank you for reporting.
I’ve been busy entering a ton of new entries as well as filling in some missing covers on existing things. One of the really noteworthy things I’ve submitted is After Action Report: Unofficial G.I. Joe Comic Guide. The first 3 books have been submitted as well as the 2nd printing of the first book. I spent a great deal of time on these and included extensive plot descriptions that outline the contents of the books, since Joe fans love their details!
I’ve started working on the recent Skybound omnibus editions but so far I’ve only been able to get cover scans. I need to work on plots, page counts and other details.
Added, thank you for reporting.
I’ve submitted multiple new issues since the last post, so if you could process those I would appreciate it. I also have some corrections for you as well. The Jon Sable, Freelance series have some confusing data and I propose some series name changes.
Please make the following corrections to the Jon Sable, Freelance collected editions to make things more accurate. For readability I have put the NEW series names in bold. I also updated the name of the new publisher in two series so they both use the same name, Masterstroke Studios. I know it’s a small detail, but I personally like things to be consistent in my own database.
Just give me a shout if you have any questions. Thanks guys.
Rename:
Jon Sable Freelance Omnibus TP
to
Jon Sable, Freelance Omnibus TP (ComicMix)
Jon Sable Freelance (Masterstroke Studios)
to
Jon Sable, Freelance: Rules of the Hunt (Masterstroke Studios)
Jon Sable, Freelance Omnibus HC (Masterstroke Editions)
to
Jon Sable, Freelance Omnibus HC (Masterstroke Studios)
I finally sat down on my desktop so I could more easily scroll through the online database results and I confirmed the Frankenstein HC does NOT exist. I’ve scanned both covers to submit, so I’ll take care of preparing a new entry to submit.
Processed, thank you for reporting.
However, regarding your reports for ‘The Rocketeer’, this series was already listed in Core though, as ‘The Rocketeer: Pavlichenko Special Art Edition (Kickstarter)’
I’m afraid I dont understand. Can you let me know the details of the book, for instance the frontcover image please, so I can manually add this to Core?
- Added the image for Zatanna, thank you for reporting, the cover we had was the only one available at that point.
re: Dracula and Frankenstein
You are totally right–I made that really cryptic, didn’t I? Let me look at it again and present it to you so it’s easier to understand.
Something new to report. This is a simple series name correction. Please take a look at the issue named Deadpool: Badder Blood HC. I’m not sure if that HC even exists, but the UPC that is attached to it belongs to a different HC named:
Deadpool: Bad Blood & Badder Blood HC
UPC: 9781302961190
I’ve submitted the correct entry with the correct series name using the old school submission process on my desktop, but here are the front and back covers in case you prefer them this way.
Let me know if you have any questions regarding the Deadpool HC. I’ll post an update on the Dracula and Frankenstein stuff later. I still owe you the results of my testing on Amazing Spider-Man as well, but things just seem to become lower on my priority list. I still want to do them for you.
I have created the series ‘Deadpool: Bad Blood & Badder Blood’ and relocated the hardcover. Thank you for letting us know!
