Removing duplicate entries with no cover

so I was playing around with importing/exporting my database via csv, and somehow I ended up duplicating nearly all of my comics and didn’t realize it until much later.

I can’t just remove all duplicates because I actually do have some legit duplicates I want to keep.

The web app shows that the “bad” duplicates all have no cover image.

I can select them and remove them, but there’s like 3000 entries and it would take quite awhile to do all of them.

The question then is can I sort or target these entries with the default cover icon and delete them in one go?

Exporting a CSV is just for exporting a CSV to your computer - it is not meant to be a tool for editing your comics.

Importing a CSV will always add to your existing collection.

There is no feature where you can export a CSV, make changes, and then import those changes back in. We do have features like “edit multiple” if you need to make massive changes to your collection.

Now to the problem at hand: would you like for us to put back a backup from like a day or maybe 2 days ago? Would that help you?
If so I need the exact date from when you need the backup to be restored please.

Ok, I see. No I don’t need a backup restored, I’ve added a ton since then that are good, but thanks anyway.

I’ll remove the duplicates in stages as time allows. I realize it’s not exactly like I have a due date on this so I’ll just do it manually.

CLZ Comics Web has a “Find Duplicates tool” in the menu - but I’m not sure if this will do the trick in removing the “right” one that way. You could take a look!

You could also change the main view from List to “cards” or “images” which would then show you quite quickly which one has images and which one doesn’t!
