GCD (Grand Comics Database) indexes Thomas as a script contributor. Friedrich wasn’t present when Thomas and Mike Ploog worked on Ghost Rider’s visual design. Thomas says he and Ploog designed the character together, with Thomas contributing the skull-headed concept and Ploog adding the flames. Ploog remembers it differently, and Friedrich remembers yet another version, but nevertheless, Thomas got a vague “aid and abetment” credit on page 1.
