Search issue

I’ve noticed two annoying little issues when searching for a book:

If you enter only part of the book’s title—say, half of it—nothing shows up; it’s frustrating when you can’t remember the exact name. It works fine on the PC version.

Another minor issue: if the book title is long, it overlaps with the “X” used to clear the search. It’s not a big deal, but it’s nice if can be fixed if possible (I’m using an up-to-date version of Firefox on Windows 11).

Could you show me specific examples with what you type, what it found, and what you expected?

The long title sitting on top of the X is a fair catch. I have noted it. For now, click in the box and delete the text, or hit Escape, and the search clears.

Sure, for example i want search this book in german, Zauberwelt der mineralien, and i don’t exctly remind the name, i wrote zauber only plus enter, the result it’s empty

if i search zauberwelt it’s ok

but let’s i add more, as zauberwelt der min (not mineralien), then nothing again

se, everythime a word it’ not complete the result it’s empty

Other example, i want all books with switzerland somewhere, it’s ok

but if i type only switzerl then it’s empty

Everytime they appear in the list under the search, but after enter only the complete name had results, truncated names no

Thank you, that makes it more clear indeed.

When you type in the box, you will get partial matches, to quickly find something that even partially matches your title.

When you hit enter, it will be a full word search.

I’m afraid that can’t be changed.
