Separate collection limits

Hi
Is there a limit in the number of collections you can create?
I have been creating separate discographies for artists within my collection, however I have now reached 50 and when I select the manage collections tab I can no longer create anymore additional tabs.

Sorry, yes 50 is the limit.

But… I have to ask, why not use folders?
