Is there a way to sort the Main List panel on multiple columns? Say I have a column that has “Date Added” and a column of “Cover Price”. I would like to sort the view so that books are sorted on the “Date Added” column first. Then the books in each “Date Added” column sorted on the “Cover Price” column. Nested column sorts like in MS Excel.
Example:
June 03, 2026 $5.99 Avengers
June 03, 2026 $4.99 Amazing Spider-Man
June 03, 2026 $4.99 Rocketeer
June 03, 2026 $3.99 Catwoman
June 02, 2026 $4.99 Magic
June 02, 2026 $3.99 Poison Ivy
June 02, 2026 (empty) Free Comic book day comic
..etc..
Thanks
Yes, that’s possible.
- Look for the “AZ” sorting button at the top of your list of comics, then click the dropdown triangle.
- Click “Manage Favorites”
- Click the Plus button at the top to create a new sorting favorite.
- Add the fields Date Added (click the checkbox in front of it) and also checkbox the Cover Price field.
- Choose for both fields if you want them going ascending or descending.
- Save it.
It should look like this:
Now when you click the dropdown icon next to the “AZ” sort button, you can choose your newly created favorite (and quickly go back to Series > Issue as well there).
Hope that helps!
AJ,
Thanks. I’ve done this, however the ASC and DESC options do not show in the new favorites box.
You are at the wrong place. You are now selecting columns instead of the sort functionality.
OK… I see where I goofed. All good now. Thanks
