I created the series ‘Spider-Man, Vol. 2 [MX]’ and added up issue 13C
You mentioned this:
13D: Dave Johnson (currently exists as Spider-Gwen, vol. 2 [MX] #16A
Are you sure this series actually is Spider-Man?
Also I’m confused with what you mean with:
Spider-Man #14 = Spider-Man #13 and the same goes for the later issues. Please feel free to explain because I’m not familiar with these Mexican reprints. Thank you in advance.
In the U.S., Sitting in a Tree was a crossover containing Spider-Man #12-14 (parts 1, 3, and 5) and Spider-Gwen #16-18 (parts 2, 4, and 6). In Mexico, they were released as Spider-Man #12-17.
Spider-Man #12, Spider-Man Presenta Spider-Gwen #13, Spider-Man #14, Spider-Man Presenta Spider-Gwen #15, Spider-Man #16, and Spider-Man Presenta Spider-Gwen #17.
While these three issues of Spider-Gwen were published in Mexico as Spider-Man, the six parts of Spider-Women from other titles were published as Spider-Gwen presenta Silk (or Spider-Woman or Spider-Women Alpha/Omega) resulting in Spider-Gwen, vol. 2 running up to 37 in Mexico.
So the book that was Spider-Gwen #16 in the U.S. was published as Spider-Man #13 in Mexico. The contents of Spider-Gwen #16 from Mexico were Spider-Gwen #10 in the U.S. Complicating this further, there was a recent foil reprint of Sitting in a Tree part 2 in Mexico. It is labeled as Spider-Gwen #16 and contains the Spanish translation of Spider-Gwen #16; but should it really be another variant of Spider-Man #13 [MX] in CLZ?
I think the best thing to do is report any missing comic without referring to their US counterpart. Doing this should hopefully avoid any confusion.
I thought it was important information that should go in the description of the book, but I will do that. Can you add issues 15 and 16?
While understandable; reporting single issues like this isn’t going to work for us after all. We would rather have the whole missing series listed at once, instead of one, two or three loose issues.
And seeing our focus mainly lies on US comics, as of now I would advice to manually add these to your local database instead. Sorry for any confusion, spider-glenn. Thank you for your replies.
