When searching the app for titles in my collection can it be made to search without typing the exact title with cama’s and such, example if I type a search like in the photo it brings up nothing even though I have this title
I’m afraid not, the box you’re typing in is a exact filter as you type. Results will become strange more often than you might think if it would allow to ignore stuff.
I’m assuming you’re looking for “New Mutants, Vol. 1 Annual”
For your search it would then have to ignore “, Vol. 1”.
And indeed in this situation, if it doesn’t care about word order or comma’s, then it would’ve found it as 1 item.
And perhaps there’s something to be found that will be nice to filter down to and make it better, but for now this is as intended.
I recommend just typing 1 or 2 most discerning words, in the right order. In this case, I’d just type New Mutants, and it’s the 5th result!
I do the one or two word thing most of the time and it works fine, but more often than not I have to scroll through many titles to find what I’m looking for. Especially when the title has a / in it, example some are Avengers / X-Men others are Avengers/X-Men with no space between the /. Makes searching a little more difficult. I do understand your position on how it functions.

I do feel like the . and / etc could be ignored. Or like “have it work with and without”. Have taken note.
