Good news about the expected introduction of user-defined fields in the mobile apps!
My question is: will there also be a possibility for two ways synchronization of these fields between the mobile apps and the (old) desktop software ? I confess, maybe it is a bit of wishful thinking on my side, but you never know …
Indeed. The feature is called “Custom Fields” on the Web and Mobile apps. It’s already live for Web (since early this year).
As for syncing Custom Fields with User Defined Fields on the old Windows version: I’m afraid not. The systems just can not work together.
We did however build a working “one-time-import” tool for “User Defined Fields” which users from the old legacy Windows version can use when they decide to make the switch to the “CLZ Web” version. That way you can have all your custom fields in the Web version, stop using the old Windows version.
The Web version of course syncs Custom Fields with the mobile app.
Importing User Defined Fields can be found in the Web version (menu top left, then go to Import/Export > Import Data, then scroll to bottom - it’s there)
