Hi. I love this feature, now it’ possible to add matrix/runout and list them in wxtract in XLS .. The old Matrix was placed the wrong place.. Unfortunately this feature is only available in WEB version.. But then rhat must be the preferred..
Good to hear you like it!
Could you let me know why the old matrix was placed in the wrong place? What is wrong about it?
Custom Fields will make it to the mobile app as well (couple of months out still, but we’re working on it), if that’s what you mean?
I asked for it earlier, but got a no.. I like that Matrix / Runout could be extracted to XLS, so it was listed as this.
Artist - Title - Release Year - Matrix Runout A - Matrix Runout B … That was not possible with the earlier Matrix A Matrix B.. You couldnt ‘export to txt’ and get those fields with.
As it is now possible to extract the Custom fields i could extract as that.. and tested it works.. But then I need always to use the Web version, not the App..
Thanks for letting me know.
Well, just for a couple of months, that’s when this feature will also come to mobile to create your own fields. And of course sync whatever you made on Web until then.
Can I ask why you need the runout on an XLS file? What do you use it for? (Sorry if I asked this in a different topic already)
And how are you going to do this if you have an album with multiple discs, meaning more runouts?
To me it’s the way to differentiate the various releases from each other.. CLZ doesn’t have the possibility to differ that much, as Discogs, so I find the best variant that fits my version and now add’ the matrix runoute.. It’s more a catalogue than a rgister..
If that happens then I would add Matrix runout C and Matrix runout D etc.. to the fields.
I see, okay thanks for explaining.
I’m still a little bit curious what you need it exported for though, but I’m happy you now have a way to do what you want to do ![]()
