I’m trying to understand if I scanned my copies correctly.

When I scanned the cover I saw two choices that my copies would fall under.

One choice states; “Non-Enhanced Newsstand Edition” UPC code 00928102461310

The other choice states; “Direct Edition” UPC code 75960602461232511

There’s no information other than this to figure out, which is which because the UPC 0 71486 02461 3 10 behind my book does not match with either UPC you have listed in CLZ, nor would it come up when I typed it in. Scanning my bar code doesn’t bring it up either.

The UPC codes usually state if the book is a direct edition by having the words “DIRECT EDITION” in the UPC box. My book does not state this. But yet my book has a 4 page fold out cover, which I’m questioning if it is an enhanced edition.

Please let myself and everyone else understand the difference and update it in CLZ to make it easier for others going forward.

I think that newsstand UPC may be wrong. This is the one I’m seeing on newsstand editions.

So far, I’ve seen 3 editions out there:

  1. Direct Enhanced Gatefold - 75960602461232511

  2. Newsstand Gatefold (not foil/prismatic, aka standard) - 07148602461310

  3. Newsstand Enhanced Gatefold (newsstand, but also has foil/prismatic) - 07148602461310 (yup, same UPC as the standard newsstand w/o enhancement.

As for what CLZ gives you as far as scan selection options, I can’t speak to that. Someone from CLZ will need to chime in.
