Upcoming Releases - unrecognized barcode

Hello,

I am unsure how you deal with upcoming releases, as I see quite a few already added in Core..

until now, I only added movies when I had the physical copy in my hands.. but last week I started adding my “On Order” items…

So, in case you add movies as they are announced with a barcode:

Thank you for reporting.
I’ve added the missing barcodes to CORE for you.

However, did you know there’s no need to report missing barcodes? You can add them to CORE yourself. When you search for a barcode, and it isn’t found, a pop-up will appear asking whether it’s a movie or a box set. You can then submit the information directly within the app. The missing barcode is added to your collection and to CORE, and all feature updates will automatically appear for you.

And thanks for the information. No I didn’t know that, but was wondering if any user entries or changes get uploaded to CORE or are only visible for the user :blush:

However, I did enter all theatrical release dates for my movies, and things like Distributor, often Edition, …

Do these entries get added to CORE also?

You can always use the “submit to core” option to add missing information to our database. If things are really incorrect, it’s best to report it here, but missing information is always added.
