I have a problem with some ebook values for independently published ebooks from amazon (that have no isbn) but had a small paperback release (with an isbn). I use the paperback release, that is in core to import the book and change the relevant data (I think that’s the preferred way you encourage). Now because the paperback release was small (and only for a limited time or print on demand) the resale prices (ebay etc) for the paperbacks can be/are high, therefore the core values are high (highest 160€, but a lot around 25€). But the ebooks shoudn’t get these values, bc ebooks can’t be resaled and the ebook price is somewhere around 5€.
Examples:
Egotistical Puckboy by Eden Finlay and Saxon James. Asin: B09NWCMR4G (~5€), your entry under the isbn 9781922743022 (kindle, ~160€) or 9781922743046 (paperback, ~25€)
Friends by Nora Phoenix Asin: B08LKFQNRL (~5€), your entry under the isbn 9798552962983 (paperback, ~90€).
I tried to unlink my entrys with core and update the values but that didn’t change the values.
Question: Is there an option to ensure that ebooks don’t get printbook values asigned? (I’m pretty sure there isn’t but now I’ve asked.)
Or do I have other options than 1) not using paperback versions from core to import aka manually adding the books (haven’t tried if that prevents this issue to be fair) or 2) filling out the my value field with the retail price for these books.
