Using my CLZ Comics app (v10.5.3) on my iPhone (iOS 18.6.2), when I go to scan a barcode or the cover, it is using the front facing camera and not the back facing camera, so I am seeing my face and not the book.
All other apps on the phone is using the rear facing camera (unless I switch the camera to be used). I can’t find a setting in the app to switch camera and there is no icon when I am on the scanning screen either to switch cameras. Any advice?
Hm, that should not happen of course.
Which iPhone do you have?
Do you have another you could at least test this on?
Can you reboot the device, and see if that shakes it up enough to allow scanning?
For my understanding, did it ever work correctly for you in the past?

Yes it was previously working (last week), but I did as you suggested and shut the phone down and restarted it. Camera is back to normal now. Thanks.

@Tiller we are still interested which iPhone you have exactly, as we just had another report on this and this user didn’t send any information. We’re trying to find out if it might be the same iPhone as yours

Is an iPhone 13 Pro Max and as you suggested, turning the phone off and re-starting it cleared out the front camera being stuck as the one used.
