Is it possible to have a 2nd temporary database? I am finding (or not finding) movies that I know I have not in the WEB collection. I know the movie was scanned. I’m think of rescanning my entire collection to a new database (if possible). Then delete the original database. I did accidently delete my database about 18 months ago, but I immediately did a restore from WEB. Maybe these movies went missing during this situation. What would be the best process to recreate my database?
You can tap the menu top left, then tap Manage Collections, and add a 2nd collection.
It will appear as a tab at the bottom of your screen. You can tap it, and add movies to it.

That would help for something else that I have in mind. But for my current situation, I don’t know how many entries I am missing. I have ~4500 titles in my collection. Scanning all of my movies over again would be faster than trying to find which movies are missing.
Could I re-scan all of my movies into this new collection? Then delete the original collection?
You could re-scan your entire collection in a new sub-collection, yeah.
But if you really want to start over completely I would just recommend to clear your entire database on phone and THEN restart.
To do the above:
- Tap the top left side menu icon to open the side menu.
- Tap “Maintenance” and then tap “Clear Database”.
- Start adding your movies again.
Then you’d also have to clear your Cloud before syncing:
- Open the app menu, and choose Sync with CLZ Cloud to open the Sync screen.
- At the bottom left, click the “Clear CLZ Cloud” button and confirm.
- Now sync with CLZ Cloud to upload all your data to the CLZ Cloud again.
