[Added] Kaya Chapbook #2

Here is the 2nd chapbook and it happens after #32. It’s release date is 12/24/25. This all the info I was able to find. If you are able to find more that would be great (same for the 1st chapbook).

Hello,

Thank you again, but it is listed at 2D. This book came out after issue #32, can this be fixed?

That 2D has now been merged to “Kaya Chapbook (Image Comics)”

Hello, I am confused. Shouldn’t this Chapbook appear after issue #32, this is when it came out. It is Summery up to that point.

Right now it has disappeared. Do you think we can add it after #32?

No, this wouldn’t be possible and doesn’t make sense because of the title. The reading order is not relevant for a database. As explained in the other post, the indicia has it as a different title so that’s what we added it as.

I see, so both chapbooks are listed as one? Or should there be two chapbooks? The only thing I see is one of those two listed as a ashcan (which I originally thought it was).

Yes, they’re listed as “Kaya Chapbook (Image Comics)”. Is #2 an ashcan as well or is it comic size?

It is a small one like the first. So I guess you refer the chapbooks as ashcans even though they are summaries of the series (at different points of the story line)?

Format is a combination of the way they’re bound and size. I’ve changed them both to ashcan now. Thank you!

I see that you labeled them separate from the series. If that is so then shouldn’t the one labeled ashcan in the original series be deleted?

Fixed

By the way, do you know why there is no number 31 issue of Kaya?

After some digging, I found that Colossal Kaya is supposed to fill that gap. The indicia shows and confirms this as well

I see. Do they plan to merge or keep it separate?

Separate as the main title is “Colossal Kaya”
