Adding cover to movie that has no cover

Hi

sorry about the stupid question, I got my first iphone recently after 15 years of Android and I don’t know if this is something that’s not possible or if I just don’t know how to do it in ios. The internet hasn’t helped me too much either.

im trying to upload a cover for a box set I have, third window films 'Katsuhito Ishii’s collection

when I try to add an image it seems to only allow me to select photos i’ve taken, even though I downloaded some higher quality (and containing no parts of my couch) images from the internet

is there a way to upload custom images? or do I have to use the camera?

@Cillian The iOS app accesses your camera roll indeed. When you save an image from the internet somewhere, you can save it to your camera roll (or at least you should be able to do that).

Where did you download it to?

you’ve been plenty helpful thanks, if I know I can do it I’ll figure it out and make a thread here with the covers and movie ID when I’ve sorted it myself
