Adding month to an existing publication year bug

Hey,

when I want to add day and month for a publication that already has a year, then I need to add for example october as 01 and january as 10, because the publication year field fills the month second digit first?

I’m nkt sure about other date fields having the same problem.

Thanks in advance

Marina

@CLZ_AJ Could you look into this?

Best regards and no hard feelings for not replying immediately. You do amazing work. (And I’m quite happy even with this little annoying date thing).

Sorry, due to some personal stuff I was out of the office for two weeks, and your topic must’ve been missed by my colleagues. I will look into this tomorrow when I’m back! And thank you for your kind words and understanding

Are you on Android or iOS?
And can you test one other data field for me as well and let me know?

I’m on iOS and I tested the reading date field, original publication date and date purchased. They all have the same issue. If the year is filled in already the month needs to be added from second to first digit.

I hope that helps tomorrow

Thank you. That is a bug across the board for all dates field if a year is already filled in. Easily reproduced, and now put on the bug list.

Easiest way to work around this is to either tap the calendar icon, and go from there, or to remove the year (tap on it, then backspace) and then start typing the full date.

My apologies for this inconvenience!
