I have added The Crow 2024 and it does not have background. It is just plain white. If I go into CLZ Movies desktop there no background either, but if I go edit/ cover/ movie poster it shows there is a poster there but it is not being applied.
Since I can not make any changes in the Desktop app since I only pay for iOS version, there is no way of editing the back ground in the very limited iOS version.
How does one fix this or is this a glitch for which I need to contact support about?
The Crow 2024 just didn’t have a backdrop in Core, and I’ve just added it to Core, you can use Update from Core to get the new backdrop.
I’m sorry to hear you find the iOS version “very limited” - it is indeed currently not possible to add a poster, or a backdrop there. I do want to ask what else you find very limited about it, perhaps I can help you on your way with the app?
Thank you for adding the back ground. I have updated and can confirm the backdrop is now there.
This is my second year using the mobile version, purely for budgetary reasons.
The desktop version has far more fields which can be filled with information, the back drop is but an example.
I will be going back the desktop version as soon as I can, till then, your mobile version will just have to do.
Using the desktop version I have filtered for movies which do not have back drops. There are 74 of them. Of those 74 I know there are 5 which will not since they are not linked to Core and are for my own use just to keep track of having them. Is there a way I can send you an export file, and in which format should I send it?
We can see which movies do not have a backdrop, and we do work on those, so there is no need to send a list of movies that you have in your collection without backdrop.
If there is a glaring missing one, you can post in our forums here Core | Errors - Club CLZ and let us know - we’d be happy to add one for you of course.
Use Update from Core every once in a while, it might just update some more movies with backdrops.

Can you let me know which fields you’re missing in the mobile app?
The 74 movies without back drop are those that remain after having done an update from core. There were originally 149. This why I asked if you wanted an export.
As for the fields that are missing. This is a question I have been asked before. The cover section is missing the movie poster & backdrop. Main is missing IMDB ( Rating, Votes, IMDb URL) so that the IMDB logo rating can be added.
There a few others, but these are the ones which most recently have seen.
Why would I want to bring over IMDb data? I would because it has not been brought over, and since the option is available to do so in the desktop version, it would good to have it in the mobile version too.
AJ, since contacting support, this is the most I have ever used the mobile version. I have been going through it to see what is missing, then syncing with your system, then syncing with my desktop version. I keep a backup of my desktop version as a backup just in case I mess my Db up.
I have just come to notice this. Mrs. Browns Boy: Series 3 (tt2201815) on my mobile the background and IMDb is missing, yet on my desktop all this is there. Then when I Update from Core on my mobile this information is brought over, but on bring it over it removes the MP4 info for Format, which I then have to put back. This happens for every one that is missing backdrop and IMDb info. There seems to be a disconnect between my desktop and my mobile when it comes to image backdrop and IMDb data.
An aside question: Mythica: Complete 5 Film Collection (5060262855492) (single movie entry since mine is a single box with 5 DVD’s). If I were to add this to my collection as 5 separate DVD’s I would get an IMDb rating for each one. Since mine is a single DVD case having 5 disks is there any way to get the IMDb info showing for each one?
When using Update from Core on mobile you get a little popup that says if you want to Update or Replace the format field. Make sure it is set to Update, and not replace, that should fix this.
If you want you could try clearing the phone data and redownload from Cloud:
On your mobile app:
Tap the top left side menu icon to open the side menu.
Tap “Maintenance” and then tap “Clear Database”.
Tap the top left side menu icon again to open the side menu.
Tap “Sync with CLZ Cloud” and sync your entire collection from CLZ Cloud down to your mobile device.
No, each movie entry can only have 1 IMDb entry. If you want to have 5 IMDb entries, you need 5 movie entries.
But when adding that barcode: you do get the option to add it as 5 loose entries, bound together via the box set field. You can try it, see if you can work with it. If not, then 1 IMDb entry is the way to go.
