As standard, two of the fields in the lower panel is Index number and Rating. Can I change that to other fields in the same place?
In short: no.
But: It is possible if you modify the template files in Program Files > Music Collector > Templates
but, we do not offer support on this, I canāt tell you which files you need exactly - but if youāre handy with computers and coding, then you will likely be able to know what to do in that folder.
Important: keep a backup of those files before you start tinkering with them.
Again - Impressed over the respons-time, some of the best out there. So thank you. I think (myself at least) that I am pretty good with computers, but donāt think I dare to do this without further instructions. Sad - because these two fields had been nice to put other info at I think, as I donāt use the index number and/or Rating at all. But hey - anyway - thank you for your respons !

Itās HTML.. XML.. stuff like that. If youāre familiar, you can back the templates folder up, and then try to tinker with it.. but - yeah, if it goes wrong it gets all borked up

As AJ said, yes, itās possible, but very messy. I tried to customise it a few years ago and I think I threw up at one point. Couldnāt get my head around it. Best to ignore them and move on if Iām honest
By co-incidence I was wondering if I could choose āOriginal Release Dateā rather than āRelease Dateā as the date presented in this panel. That would be a personal preference. However it is what it is and I remain very happy with Music Collector.
Absolutely agree. Both that it is best to āmove onā - and that it is a great program. In fact, it is the best I have tried ever since I had Catraxx back in these days. The combination of rich adjustments, nice view options and - most important for me - a fantastick track view. Unbeatable.
