The 5/13/2026 price looks like an outlier
The sale did happen, and it was advertised as VF/NM 9.0. It was a BIN sale. Although there are some tears at the spine corners, the seller calls them bindery tears, but they look worse than that. I’m going to bump it down to a VF grade.
That being said, I did a further review of those pricier sales, and it looks like the $28.76 sale was out there for a bit, but it could not pass secondary confirmation, so it has been removed. I’d say the $25+ sales are more the outliers than that $9 sale. We will have to see how the next NM range raw sales come in, but my guess is it’s more in the $10-15 range. There’s just not a lot of high-grade sales for this book, as most come in the FN and VG range.
