After App Update, Duplicates not working

I have the Music app on my Android phone with over 700 cds in my database for my collection. I have loved the CLZ apps and am subscribed to multiple.

I didnt realize that the app updates were disabled on my Google Play store. So when I turned it on, the CLZ apps all updated. Including the Music app.

Before, if i scanned CDs using the “add music” option, and if I already owned it, the entry would show up as Blue signifying it was already in my database. Since the app update it doesnt anymore.

I have deleted the app and data from the phone completely. Reinstalled and redownloaded the database from the cloud. Still the same. Its like the cloud database is now misconfigured and isnt compatible with the updated app. Even though the CDs are all still there, when I scan, it doesnt recognize that its in my database if its one I already own.

The wierd thing is if I add a fresh CD to my database now, and then rescan it to via the “add music”, then it shows up blue that its in my collection already. So Any new entries thats added from the updated app work as intended. But he older data from before the update…even though shows up in the database fine…will not show as a duplicate and will in fact add it to the database causing a duplicate extra entry.

This can happens when the entry you have in your app already is different from the one that is shown in the search results.
For instance, you may have an entry from our Core in your app already, but the search now shows an entry from Discogs, so it does not recognize it is the same album, because the Core IDs are different.

This problem may pop up more often recently, because we changed the search in the Add Albums by barcode screen to prioritize Discogs entries.

We have a solution for the problem in mind though, which will be released soon.
