I’m counting on my collector’s software and my mobile app to be utilizing the pictures that I have carefully taken over the years for many thousands of albums. In this case, vinyl record albums that need to have their own picture, not a web image.
How can the software be set globally to default to using only images? Images where I have taken the pictures and not use web images for vinyl records?
Currently from my end I don’t see any way to do this. I saw a note in the forum about going in and redoing the pictures 1 by 1 And if I’m going to go into each listing and have to reset settings in thousands of records then I might as well retake all of the pictures 1 by 1, which will take years Or Thousands of dollars to have someone paid to do it for me. I don’t think this is a very good idea. When the pictures are already there and already linked in the CLZ software.
I have about a 100,000 (of over 200K) records, cleaned, alphabetized and ready to be added to collectors. I was going to use the Android app to do this. However, currently it looks like there’s going to be an issue based on these pictures and how they’re handled. This means I’m back to only using the PC CLZ software for reference and only adding albums in the PC CLZ software itself, the original software.
Let me know if you have a fix for this. If not, it’s fine, I’ll just keep doing it the old way in the PC CLZ software.
