Hi, I have noticed that a considerable amount of my movies/TV shows are missing trailers/videos etc. For the majority, there is a region error (as per screenshot) for other titles, it’s simply just not there. So is there a setting I need to adjust somewhere to allow restrictions? (Ironically, the screenshot is showing “ITV” as the provider which is an EU Country which I am in!)
Here’s an example (and where the screenshot is from) is the title:
" Hammer House Of Horror - Complete Collection" 5037115040930
ITV did not provide that video, ITV was the company that put a strike on whoever uploaded that trailer video in the past to their YouTube account.
It happens often, and more often for trailers, which we can see in our Core database, which we fix from time to time.
I’m afraid not much can be done other than reporting these if you really want a trailer. My apologies for this inconvenience.
We are planning to make the troubles less by having YouTube links instead of embedded videos (embedded videos are often the first thing YouTube uploaders are blocking, so clickable trailers would be better as they work more often). Copyright strikes from companies such as ITV on channels/videos that upload the trailers that we might link to will still happen, and that is something we just have to deal with and fix from time to time!

Tip - When I add my own trailers in Movie Collector, I look for the “Official” ones that come directly from the studios (WB, Sony, Paramount etc) and Fandango & Rotten Tomatoes are also good options. When that is not an option shoot for the one’s with the most views. Still there is the problem with “age restricted” trailers not sure what CLZ can do about links for these.
