Artist separator not showing in cloud

When I have two or more artists for one song, the artists are separated with a semi colon in the desktop. When I sync with the cloud those semi colons disappear. They may be over on cloud 9, but they’re not showing up on my cloud. Is this a bug or is it suppose to work this way. It would be nice to have them separated somehow/

CLZ Music Web/Cloud does not support multiple track artists, it is one single text field in there. But, I do believe it should add them in there with semi colon, and right now it seems to enter them with “enters” between them. This makes it look like there is just nothing between them in the details panel.

I’ve reported the issue to the team here, thanks for letting us know.

In the meantime, I have figured out a temporary fix. I created an artist with just “|” (An up and down line not the letter I) in the name. When I have more than one artist for a song, I just add that in between the names. When the time comes that this is fixed, all I will need to do is delete the “|” from the pick list.

Just thought I would let you and the others here know, in case they have the same issue.

@Yooper1975 we’ve uploaded a fix for this problem (which means you now have to remove that “|” artist again if the fix works!)

(in the Edit screen they will still show up with “enters” - but that is something that we had forever to keep it all compatible with mobile/web/desktop - so we did not change that), but in the main details they will now show with ;

Now I can remove the “|” because I’m sure it messes up my statistics somehow, not sure how, but I’m sure it does.

I’m pretty sure it doesn’t for the Web version, but for desktop/mobile it could yeah. Anyway, looks better without them too anyway :slight_smile:
