How do I have scanned book author ALWAYS have Last name first for sorting? It seems like it varies and sometimes is last name and sometimes first name in sort.
I got a bit confused by the text in your message (“how do i have scanned book author Always have.. etc.” - what do you mean exactly here?
Can you point me to a recently added book in your collection that was entered… wrong? I can verify against our Core online book database to see what is happening, but I need some examples from you please (and include what is wrong exactly please).

Today I scanned the following and the sort name was the author first name. Here’s the titles
Glassmaker by Tracy chevalier, large print
Stolen life of Collette by Kristen Hannah large print
Happier life by kiisty Woodson Harvey
Love unscripted by Denise hunter
Wicked dreams by Lisa Jackson
love of summer by Susan Mallery
in all of these cases there was another book in the collection by the author, but the ones already in were last name first in the sort
I changed them in our software as I was working on the database
Some to the others scanned went in last name first in sort
Thank you. I’ve opened your library, looked up the books you added, then grabbed the ISBN and searched them in our online database.
All (Except Susan Mallery) were in our database, and entered wrongly by one of our sources. I’ve fixed those, but that is not the solution.
So, the actual first name, was in our last name box, and then they just get entered wrongly for you, the user.
All we can ask you to do is help us by fixing it in your own collection, and then click the 3 dots top right (above the book details), and then submit that book where the author was wrong to us, and we’ll fix it in our online database.
My apologies for this inconvenience! We’ll try to see if we can find out why they came in wrong, but that might be a tough one - will keep an eye out for it though
