Good morning.
For some months now I have had problems creating a backup file for my collection and we decided it was due to the large number of custom covers.
I tried it again this morning and to my delight (and surprise) the backup was successful.
Has anything been changed? I would be interested to know.
Also, I was wondering if this means that were I to do a reindex of my database that wou;d be successful too. I like to have the database indexed sequentially so I have been running a reindex every three months or so. You have been kind enough to run this from your end on my behalf recently and wondered if that could be done again please?
Many thanks,
Regards,
Keith.
I had to laugh with you, Keith, with your OCD control attempts. The CLZ universe is both a dream and a nightmare for those of us who can spend an entire day seeking to discover and confirm every obtuse detail about the Chandos release of the Nørgård Symphony No 3, Leif Segerstam: Danish National Symphony Orchestra. (There are some CRAZY rabbit holes that can lead to some wonderful data points in MuC!!!) I don’t always succumb to those OCD-like urges, but I am one who never takes CLZ Core at face value. I am guessing, Keith, you enjoy checking the details, too.
You guess correctly.
I can spend hours looking through various sites looking for what might to some appear really trivial but for some reason I NEED to know, for instance, that a recording of a particular Symphony by a particular composer is the only one available.
