With my barcode reader it doesn’t take the last number. For instance 8712609073850 it doesn’t take the 0.
Which barcode scanner are you using?
That barcode 8712609073850 is a valid 13 digit EAN barcode, so it should be read correctly by any barcode scanner.
Unless the scanner is very specifically programmed to scan 12 digit UPC barcodes only? Never seen that though.
Hi Alwin. It is a barcode scanner from temu with a manual which has barcodes to change the settings. I use it also for my work to scan serial numbers and article numbers.
Try configuring it to scan both 13 digit EANs and 12 digit UPCs.
I have tried that the only setting is scan all barcodes. I have ordered a new one it had a picture next to it with a thirteen digit barcode. I have als tried clz mobile and scan with the camera of my mobile phone. It works perfect.
