Hey team! My recently started using the CLZ Book app, and she wanted to make a custom folder of Author then book title. But there doesn’t seem to be a title option for folders. Is this something that may be added down the line?
Can you explain why you need to foldergroup on “Title”? Book titles are usually different for each book you have right?
Can you give a real life example where foldering on the Title field would be useful for books?
(Foldering is usually only made for pick list fields)
For example, my wife is a fan of certain authors, and she wanted to sort by authors, then title, to see what books form that author she has or are on her wishlist.
I don’t use the app myself, so if that can already done some way, I will check her app later
Now you’re saying sorting.
But in your first post you said folders.
What is “Sorting”?
The order in which books are displayed, from top to bottom, in a list.
What are “Folders”?
Books are grouped in folders based on information in each book entry.
Possible solution:
Maybe you just want to tap the folder button top left, then tap Author.
This will group all your books by author.
Then tap on an author and you can see all books by that author, that are in your collection.
Inside the author folder, the books can be sorted (order, from top to bottom in a list), by tapping the AZ button top right. Then tap Title.
