Box Sets

Has anyone entered box sets where the volumes can be loaned individually?

Do you normally enter a box set as one book entry?
Bc box set is an individual field that you can fill in for every individual volume of the set. So every individual book is a book in the database that can be loaned by itself and books in a boxset have a information that they are part of that set.

If you enter box set as NOT SINGLE ENTRY - the movies will list individually & be easier to track/loan as individual title, BUT when you do look @ that entry you will see it as PART OF A SET – but do be careful doing this depending on the set - I have a for Christopher Eccleston & David Tennant (Dr Who Season 1 - 4 plus Holiday Specials) if listed as multiple items you do get the individual Seasons & Specials listed separately – Unfortunately, for the version I purchased all episodes are on 12 discs inside 1 extra large case – so loaning out specific Specials or Seasons are difficult to do considering how they are set in case – so, I would likely just recommend listing box sets separately if you have them cased separately in the box to make loan out easier – otherwise, I’d suggest leave them as a single entry & if someone wants to borrow something in the set, they borrow the WHOLE set & not just 1 or 2 discs of the set that may disappear

Please understand that the comment from @mac666 is about our movie apps, and not about our book apps (we don’t have box sets in Core for books - but you can indeed create them yourself.
