I’ve noticed that in the new release of the reading history on my ipads, that I can’t record a start reading date without marking the book as read. The drop down menu of reading status is only finished, nothing else shows as an option. So to add a starting date, you have to show the status of the book as finished, nothing else in process. I’m on the latest ipad IOS version,. It works on my iPhone, shows the 4 options on the drop down reading status, but not on the ipads. And if on the iPhone edit I check the reading status as reading, and deleted the finished date, and click done, on the details page it shows the book as read, not reading.

That was indeed a bug in the iPad version only, it was fixed in version 10.6.2 which was released yesterday.
Your app may have updated itself already (check the menu top left, the version number is at the top).
If it hasn’t updated itself yet, here’s how to force the update:
on iOS:
- On your device, open the App Store app.
- Search “CLZ” and select your CLZ app.
- Tap “Update” to update the app.

That did fix the problem with the drop down options. But after marking the status as reading with the start date, on the details page, it shows read with the date as if you’re finished. A small annoyance.

(don’t be scared though, the Reading status is saved correctly, which you can see in your main screen if you tap the folder button top left, and then tap Reading Status)
