This is my second time reporting this bug, it has been happening for about a few weeks now. When editing box sets it will not let me change covers. If i pick an image from the file icon and hit enter it then just cuts back to the edit screen with no image added. I have a few titles that are part of box sets where the box set image is of the wrong thing. E.g. alien 6 film collection having kung fu panda on it. I want to chane it but it wont let me. How can i fix it? Ive closed the app, uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my phone. Nothing works.
Mmm, it looks like we missed your earlier post about this, sorry about that.
Somehow, this feels like a bug we fixed earlier. Which version of the app are you using?
v9.6.2 is the latest version.
When I try this (pick a cover from my phone somewhere) on Android, it seems to save it.
- Are you on v9.6.2? Open the menu top left, scroll to top and check the version number there.
if you are on that version, can you show us this in a video?
Here’s how you can make a screen recording on your Android device:
- Swipe down twice from the top of your screen.
- Tap “Screen record”.
If “Screen record” is not there, you might need to swipe right to find it. If it’s not there, tap “Edit” and drag “Screen record” to your Quick Settings.
- Choose what you want to record and tap Start. The recording begins after the countdown.
- To stop recording, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the “Screen recorder” notification.
You can find the files in the Photos app in Library > Movies.
You can send me the file(s) via:
I am using v9.6.2 here is a video showcasing the problem.
Hi @my-lil-bro it seems there is a problem here with “older” Androids where a bug was introduced. We have put it on our list for fixing.
For now your workaround is as follows:
- Do not open the “Edit” screen, instead:
- On the details panel (with the cover images of Jurassic Park) tap on “Change order of movies”
- Now modify the cover
- Now save it and it should stick
Let me know if that works out for you!
