I am trying to export my Book Collector (desktop version) file to Excel, but I am getting the message “cannot create export file”. Any advice, please?
That is probably related to the destination folder you selected.
Make sure you point to a folder that is accessible by the program.

Many thanks. That worked and exported all the book titles, authors, year and publisher. However, one other question. I have a lot of anthologies listed, with contents: stories and authors added. Is there any way I can export this information also?

You can use View > Contents View to just view all those content items in one big list, but it can’t be exported I’m afraid.
