I have CLZ Movies Web on an ipad and I have two question regarding Cast data.
I’m really enjoying the new feature where you click on an actor’s name and you see the movies you have them in. However when I click on their name, it takes you to the film list, but I don’t see another way of returning to the previous screen except for the back button on the browser. This works, but it returns to the shorter view all list instead of the longer one, if you have previously clicked on it. It’s a little tedious to keep clicking that button, if you want to see others on the cast list. It would be nice to have a button on the results list, perhaps near the yellow actor’s name button, that would return you to the movie cast list with the view all list as it was before.
When you’re searching for another actor to add to the cast list and they’re not in the drop-down list, does the new actor that you add become part of that list so that you can add them again for another movie? If not, is there a way to get them on that list?
I’ve checked your account and I see you are using “no details” view. Meaning you can click on a movie and it takes you to a full screen page of your movie. Then you can click an actor, and it will “go back” and filter your movies to show you all movies with that actor.
If you hit X, it will simply reset the filter, and keep you in your movie list.
I understand you rather keep clicking other actors, or at least go back to that movie when you hit X.
If you want that, (and many other things that just work better) I would strongly urge you to try the regular horizontal or vertical split view method.
Just give it a try. It will likely do what you want, all in one view.
The “no details” view is not really suited to do this (going back to the movie when canceling a filter could feel really strange so that’s why we decided on doing it the way it is working now in “no details” view.
Yes that should happen, you should be able to pick that new person in a later movie as well yes.
